U would have to reduce intake of sweets and other junk foods. Have more healthy foods. Try not to take much stress. You might be feeling anxious right now that your friends are all having someone to lean kn like that and are busy with their husband's n all.

it was under control from past few years...but due to career and late marriage...condition is getting worse day by day..evryday i m trying to start ...but overthinking brings me back to square one..

If you're staying single by choice, it's okay. Pcos doesn't mean the end of the world. You just have to make sure it doesn't get worse and reach PCOD state. That is a really worse situation. So try to stay positive. Sleep properly, have food properly and include exercise. If you can't exercise, walking a lil everyday is also fine. like 1 km or two.

You might have to check up with a doc. Are you having pain in ur ovary areas? And how about the period dates? Are they regularly coming every month at time or did it skip a month or something?

You don't have to give up. It will be fine. When you are stressed the hormones will go haywire it will take a lil time for the hormone level to go normal.

Usually they will suggest you to have Ovarin. It's a syrup. But I won't tell you to have it wo prescription. Meet a doc. Confirm the status of your ovaries via ultra sound or whatever she recommends. Follow a diet plan. You don't have to stress on it like I have PCOS I can't eat it anymore . Don't be like that. You can have, but at a moderate level.

i got blood test and ultrasound few months ago....it was normal...n periods were on time...without any medicine..but doc suggested me to take birth control pills..which i didnt take..evrything was fine till last month..but suddenly i m late by 25 days..

Depending on the level of hormones and all they mightve to put you on certain tabs that have effects similar to birth control pills to get your hormones back to normal. And once the meds and all are in track, just 2-3 days before your date of periods start having dates. It kinda helps in stimulating the periods.

Yeah. You have to be on birth control initially for a lil while to get it under control. Once it's normal, u can be off it.

yeah...i skipped pills.bcz one gyne said to follow healthy routine and nothing to worry...n other sadi me to tke pills...and yes...i m going to get tested again in few days..i m scared very much..one gyne asked me to get marry asap...n try for a baby....otherwise i wont be able to get preg ever....marriage is not in my hands..i feel very depreseed because of all this..and i was doing yoga running n few exercises regularly till last month...n in this month i was not feeling good..so i wasnt regular this time.

Okay so listen to me nidhi. Meet a doc as soon as you can. If your ultra sound and all was fine, it means you are still in initial stages only. A lil bit of care in your diet, exercise and properly following the medication that doc prescribes, you will be out of this. You can have the pills if she recommends you to have again. You won't be on it for a long time. And purpose of that pill is to keep a check on your hormones from going haywire. Don't think too much like Ohh it's a birth control pill, I don't wanna have it n all

Don't worry about getting a baby. With PCOS late stages it is hard to get pregnant. Note that I said hard. It doesn't mean you can't get pregnant.

u'll have to push through that either way... motivation or no motivation.... u need to include it in ur routine

You don't have to force yourself to marry right now just so you could conceive. The problem with gynac in India mainly is that all they think is women should get married and pregnant before their eggs give out. Your life is more than that. Live the life you want to live. Even if you force yourself into marriage and get pregnant right now, ask yourself, will you be happy? Or will you be just more miserable. Having a kid is no easy matter. More stress and more worries will be there. Right now focus on your career and life. If you're happy with yourself then only you can be happy and make someone else happy at the same time. So live your life, let them say what they want to say.

have u been exercising? think about ur diet u had in last few days... are u off track or on track? check what changes u have done in last month? cut off all the stress... it only makes things worse

if u have commitment issues then prepare a list u need to do... and tick off things u do and end of the week reward urself

@david6124 .... yeah i ll go n meet a doc in few days....i was so tensed..n frustated because of it.sometimes it becomes so hard..all the insecurities, failure, guilt happened in past suddenly comes into my mind....

Haan. It's kinda a real pain to keep up with the routine. But if it's something that you like doing, then you won't feel that it's a pain. If you don't like running, workout, if you don't like working out, dance, if you don't like dance, do yoga, if you don't like yoga, do hoopla hoop. As long as your body moves, it's fine. Just stay active. You don't even have to keep an extra time table for that. Maybe walking 10-15 min to and from work is also fine as long as your food intake is balanced. You can have a cheat day as a gift to yourself. Whether it's once a month or once a week is upto you. That day you can appreciate yourself for what you have done for the week. Have whatever you want, ice-cream, chocolate, burger, in way in that it's not too much though. You don't have to workout and all everyday either. Alternate days is fine too. If you're ready for 6 days a week that's fine too.

@skylar yes i have tried to do list...i m able to follow it for few days....n then bam!!....again feel hopeless..i have been doing surya namaskar daily....untill last month....but then i lost intrest in evrything..i was still trying to manage my condition...i dont want to sound depress...but i m not able to help myself...i feel like crying whenever i m alone..i have lost intrest in things that i used to love earlier..i easily get frustated n bust my anger on my family...i dont want to do that..but it still happens.

It's normal to feel insecure. Just don't give up on yourself. Do what you love. No matter whatever failures you have gone through, you're still here right. Those mightve made you realize many mistakes too and you might be feeling guilt too. It's a good thing that you do feel guilt, that guilt will push you forward and make sure you won't make the mistakes again. Just don't give up on urself

Try switching out stuff instead of doing same thing everyday. It will get boring after a while and kinda will become a need to do thing rather than want to do thing.

Don't let your mind and body get used to the same old stuff. Even for us who workout, the main thing we have to take care is not to use same weights every time. We have to switch it out to heavy ones, of shed the weights, or increase the reps, just so our body won't get used to it, same with mind too.

I can understand how overwhelming it can get... take ur time... allow urself to feel... share it with someone or write it down... cry, yell even tear something u want to.... don't try not to feel anything - don't bottle up ur emotions.. they explode like anything.... slowly then again start, try exploring new things if u get bored in few days... but before giving it up explore it well..... try walking, meditation and baking or cycling there are several things to explore keep ur mind open... it's really important

You might have something that you really want to do or love to try. Like swimming, hoopla hoop, dancing, it doesn't matter what it is, you should enjoy doing it that's all

You should sleep. Yes, it is true that doctors emphasize on proper sleep for people with pcos. But as a normal human too we need to have atleast 8 hours of sleep for body to recover properly. So keep your worries aside. You said you're meeting doc right. Just be calm, meet her, do the tests n all if she recommends. Have the meds properly. Don't skip any meds.
